Position Description:
Wisconsin Imaging Center of Excellence is searching for part-time or fulltime positions for CT, MRI and X-Ray Technologists in the Greater Milwaukee area who are professional, comfortable working independently, and who understands excellence in patient customer service. Our independent locally owned radiology center provides high-quality studies that have a positive impact on patient care. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Positions patients and selects proper scanning factors, adjusts factors to attain the appropriate images and provides radiation protection and safety in accordance with regulatory agencies
- Completes all required documentation including billing information and pertinent clinical/surgical history for each patient
- Post-processes images as directed and accurately identifies and labels images identifying patient name, record number and location or position of scan on all images
- Digitally transmits images daily for reading by Radiologist
- Performs routine inspection of medical equipment
- Practices “universal precautions”

- Other duties may be assigned, including administrative support with front desk operations, as needed
Scheduled Hours
Flexible hours with potential job sharing opportunity and/or future full time opportunity as patient volume grows
Licenses & Certifications as Required by
- Radiographer license issued by the State of Wisconsin
- Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Computed Tomography (CT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Magnetic Resonance Imaging credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 12 Months (1 year) of hire date or job transfer date.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Medical Imaging Center Experience: 1 year
- Competent in IV and venipuncture
